Day 1 / Sunday Frankfurt

Arrival at the Frankfurt airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at your layout. Frankfurt, the financial and commercial center of Germany, is marked by its fascinating contrasts between modern and historical. Accommodation at the Mövenpick Frankfurt City Hotel or similar.

Day 2 / Monday Frankfurt - Heidelberg - Black Forest

In the morning transfer to the city of Heidelberg to visit its famous castle. Then walk through the old center. Heidelberg, the oldest university city in Germany, is one of the most visited places due to its idyllic location on the banks of the Neckar River. Then travel to the famous Black Forest region. Tonight you will have an authentic experience: a typical Black Forest dinner and a wonderful night in an idyllic hotel. If you wish you can take a short walk to the beautiful “Ravenna Gorge” or see the oldest chapel in the region, both are next to the hotel. Accommodation at the Best Western Hotel Hofgut Sternen or similar.

Day 3 / Tuesday Black Forest - Lake Titisee - Lindau - Füssen

After breakfast there will be a brief presentation about the production of cuckoo clocks. Then you will visit a small and traditional farm where you can taste cheeses and where you can take a look at the real life in the Black Forest. At midday, stop at Lake Titisee. Continue the trip to the small Island of Lindau located on Lake Constance, which offers spectacular views of the Alps. Then travel to Füssen, the southernmost point of the "Romantic Road". Accommodation at the Best Western Plus Hotel Füssen or similar.

Day 4 / Wednesday Neuschwanstein - Wieskirche - Oberammergau - Linderhof - Ettal Abbey - Innsbruck

The day begins with a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Louis II, the famous "Mad King". At midday, travel to Oberammergau, a town famous for its representation of the Passion and its crafts. On the way visit of the Wieskirche church declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. In the afternoon visit the Linderhof Palace. This is one of the 3 castles built by King Louis II of Bavaria and the only one where he lived for the longest time. After a short stop at the Benedictine abbey of Ettal. Day 5 / Thursday Innsbruck - Bad Tölz - Munich

In the morning a visit of the city awaits you. The capital of Tyrol offers modern architecture and historic buildings, which invite you to embark on a fascinating journey into the Habsburger family's past. After lunch, transfer to Munich. The road, pause in Bad Tölz, a small thermal town with one of the most idyllic avenues in Bavaria, the "Marktstrasse" (market street). Accommodation at the Hotel Holiday Inn Munich City Center or similar.

Day 6 / Friday Munich

After breakfast visit the main attractions of the city ending in the main square "Marienplatz" to admire the famous carillon of the town hall. Munich, the capital of the state of Bavaria, is famous for its “Oktoberfest” Beer Festival held in September. Free time. In the evening you can enjoy a typical Bavarian dinner. Accommodation at the Hotel Holiday Inn Munich City Center or similar.

Day 7 / Saturday Munich - Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Frankfurt

Departure to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the most beautiful and ancient cities of the "Romantic Road". Walk through the dream city for romantics. Continuation of the trip to Frankfurt. The tour ends at Frankfurt airport around 7 pm. Then transfer to the Mövenpick Frankfurt City hotel for passengers who have additional nights (It is suggested to add one night to take flight in the afternoon of the next day).
